Vegetarianism is more than eating

Being a vegetarian is more than just watchihng what you consume at your mealtimes. Of course, everything in this blog post is purely my opinion. According to the The Columbia Encyclopedia®; a vegetarian is the practice of subsisting on a diet composed primarily or wholly of vegetables, grains, fruits, nuts, and seeds, with or without eggs and dairy products.

To me that means you have to have the morals that go along with it as well. You have to think and ponder what those poor animals have to go through for the "Meat Eaters" of the world. You should astain from all animal products. Whether it be food or something you wear. I personally try to by things that are not leather, ie. shoes, jackets, wallets or belts. When you wear something of leather, the animal had to be killed for its hide so you know the meat was used for someone. American society tries not to waste anything.

This does not mean you have to be a hard core PETA or a Mercy For Animals activist. But is one's own concious that one has to live with.
